We all know that change is inevitable but no one really guides us on embracing it. Our reaction to different circumstances in our lives can build or break us. And that's where the importance of responding instead of reacting comes. All the quotes you find on your timeline, inspirational books , advice from peers, are very sugar coated. When we come down to the nitty gritty of processing a certain change, it requires a lot of patience and self evaluation.

The power of patience lies in its practice, which feels unreal and daunting as time goes on it. We do live in the era where we expect everything to happen quickly. But unfortunately, our subconscious does not work that way. Now the question shifts to how patience can be made easier. Perception.
Perception is heavily discussed in the practice of stoicism. According to its teachings, as social beings, the path to eudaimonia for human beings is to act in accord with their nature, meaning being rational and social beings at every moment. A quote from one of the stoic philosopher reads...
“Men are disturbed not by things but the view which they take of them. ” — Epictetus.
Having a broad perspective sphere helps us practice patience which in turn helps us modify any change to our advantage. As we all know..
“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”
― Albert Einstein
